The complainant was interviewed at South Detective Division and stated the following. On 7-15-12 at approximately 2:20am, he was walking in the area of 20th and Carpenter when he was approached from behind by an unknown black who tapped him on the shoulder. When the complainant turned around the unknown male was armed with a black handgun and demanded the complainant’s belongings. The suspect ordered the complainant to run westbound on Carpenter Street and fled in an unknown direction.
The complainant was not injured, taken was the complainant’s black I-phone 4 (no tracking software), the complainant’s wallet containing identification and credit cards, and the complainant’s brown leather saddlebag.
